My name is Rob Ventura, pastor of Grace Community Baptist Church in North Providence, Rhode Island, www.gcbcri.org.  About two decades ago, God in His great grace radically saved me through the gospel, granting me repentance toward Himself and faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  How thankful I am for all that He has done for me and in me!  What a great joy and privilege it is to know and serve the King of kings and Lord of lords!

This blog is for promoting new books.  Prior to my conversion, I was a professional promoter in New York City, managing a music group for Arista records.  In recent years, God providentially allowed me to use some of these skills in working with a few Christian publishing companies.  I did this not only in the context of co-writing my own book, A Portrait of Paul, but also in helping publishers promote books by other authors.  In December 2011 Dr. Joel Beeke inquired if I would be willing to assist the staff at Reformation Heritage Books with some freelance promotional work.  I accepted his invitation.

My specific focus will be pre-publication promotions.  That is, I will be ‘getting the word out’ on books which are soon to be released.  On the Home page you will find detailed information about books soon to be released.  This page will be updated regularly with new books that are coming out.  The great news is that not only will you find early information about these books, but you will also be able to get special discounted prices on these titles.  Further, I will also be giving away free books – so be on the lookout for these opportunities found in this blog.  On the Sneak Peeks page you will find information about books to be released months in advance.
